Microsoft Windows Midi Mapper Install It On

I know when you download Fl Studio and install it on your pc, You have 2 options Microsoft Midi Mapper and Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth. Hi all, got a question for you all, just curious what Midi Mapper Fl Studio users are using these days. Wherever you are in your journey now, rekordbox is the only DJ software youll.Midi Mapper.

There’s this really dodgy folder titled: DigiMidiOmissions…….a folder mentioned NOWHERE on google. In that folder are two entries: Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth & Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth !!So I deleted them, in some vain attempt that maybe that would present “Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth” as a midi output option. I don’t even know what that is, cause most things I’ve read tend to describe it as ‘old’ software, dating back to earlier versions of windows, so why is it popping up as a midi output option in the latest version of Tools running on XP SP3?- My ‘Midi Input Devices’ list in Tools only gives me the MBox 2 Pro Midi option to select.- I have no external midi hardware attached to the MBox 2 Pro (in or out). Also, here’s something really weird, which I couldn’t find ANYWHERE on google. When I go into my registry, and go here: My Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Digidesign……. Devised a proprietary system for assigning MIDI voices in Windows.- It’s my default ‘midi playback’ in my Sounds & Audio Devices Properties in Windows XP SP3 (the volume is turned up and it’s not muted).- Windows Media Player will use it to play midi files no worries.- I can see it/select it/use it as an output in other multi-track DAW’s (which playback through my MBox 2 Pro hardware).- The ONLY midi output option I have in Tools (apart from if I use an instrument track) is: Microsoft Midi Mapper which produces no sound regardless of channel selected (1-16). - It works (as in the software works with other programmes).Specifically, MIDI is a mapping structure that assigns instrument sounds, or voices. So my question is what FL Studio users are using besides these 2.
